Sunrise Walk in Siem Reap, Cambodia - January 2016
January 22, 2016 -- After almost 24 hours of transit to get here, I arrived in Siem Reap, Cambodia last night for my 3+ week stay -- part of my job with Trailblazer Foundation.
This morning, with my internal clock all cattywampus, I ventured out into the streets at 5:00 AM..... and found myself at the Wat Damnak Pagoda at daybreak. Wat Damnak is the largest pagoda in Siem Reap, home to many Buddhist monks. Wat Damnak means "palace, "which it was during the reign of King Sisowath. It is located almost opposite the old Market, on the other side of the river.
