Complejo Arqueológico Ingapirca, Ecuador - January 2015
January 3, 2015 -- Yesterday, I took a day trip to see the largest Inca ruins in Ecuador, a two hour drive north from Cuenca. The place, and the experience, reminded me of Machu Picchu, Ankgor Wat, Tikal, Tulum.
Ingapirca means "Inca wall" in the indigenous language, Kichwa. Lots of very impressive rock work.... which the Student Conservation Association alum in my lives would enjoy marveling at.
